Beeks’ best bits Q4 ’19

It's nearly the end of 2019 and there's a lot to reflect on from the last three months.

Beeks partnered with NYI to take space in their NY2 datacentre at 60 Hudson Street in New York, becoming Beeks’ third datacentre location in New York and 12th location globally.

We have extended our partnership with BEQUANT Exchange, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Malta and London, to offer them as a destination trading venue for Beeks customers in London.

We are continuing to grow our network of cryptocurrency partners by adding connectivity to Deribit Exchange, a futures and options trading platform for cryptocurrencies.

We have welcomed several new members of staff to our technical team this quarter, and have announced the appointment of Graeme Marsh (formerly of Virgin Money) to our new role of Chief Information Security Officer.

Last week, we announced the signing of two significant contract wins, one of which marks our first customer within the Open Banking and Payments sector, opening up a new avenue with regards to the customer segments that we serve.

In a stellar few months for awards, we were listed in the Finncap Ambition Nation 50 for the leading small cap UK listed companies, the Business Cloud Scotland Tech 50 2019 for the most exciting Scottish technology companies this year, and finally, we were once again nominated for Best Data Centre and Hosting Services in Megabuyte’s Emerging Stars Awards. Stay tuned to find out if we win!

We look forward to more exciting developments to come in 2020, and wish a Merry Christmas to all when it comes.
