The Beeks Commercial Team is expanding, with the appointment of Des Peck (previously of Object Trading) as its new Commercial Director.

Des will be based in London, to better facilitate our London and UK clientele. He will also be joining the Commercial Team at the Beeks stand at the iFX Expo International in Cyprus next month.

Bio: Des Peck

While at Object Trading, Des ran the sales efforts and helped drive demand for the Managed Platform offering, allowing clients to trade directly onto markets in key trading data centres, while using a broker neutral trading system. During his tenure at Object Trading, the company’s client base more than doubled and its platform offering expanded into new geographies across Asia Pacific and Europe.

Prior to Object Trading, Des was at TMX Atrium, running business development and marketing, and before that at Radianz, where he held a range of senior manager positions across Account Management, Engineering and Product roles between 2000 and 2007. Des has an MSc in Telecommunications, a BEng in Electronics and is a Chartered Engineer as well as a post-graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Commenting on his appointment, Des Peck stated, “Beeks’ innovation in the provision of specialised cloud computing and connectivity solutions positions it at the forefront of the IaaS market for automated trading. Following the company’s recent expansion into Equities, Fixed Income and Cryptocurrencies, I am delighted to be joining the team at this time of exciting growth.”
