Simon Ognall, Head of Channel & Partner Alliances at Equinix UK, commented, “Building a digital business requires the ability to reach strategic global destinations on demand, to access everyone that matters, and to bring people, clouds, data and things together. We have a long-standing relationship with Beeks and are excited to see them continue to innovate with Equinix and achieve Gold Partner status.”
Beeks and Equinix have worked together since Beeks’ inception in 2011, with the company initially taking space in Equinix’s NY4 International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre located in the New York City metro. The partnership has progressed over the years, with Beeks currently present in ten of Equinix’s data centres around the world, serving US, Asia and EMEA markets.
In early 2018, Beeks joined the Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric), Equinix’s flagship cloud platform for facilitating the buying and selling of cloud services, allowing existing and new customers to directly connect to and purchase Beeks’ products and services regardless of location via software-defined networking (SDN) capabilities.
Beeks is now one of a small number of UK partners that are Gold Tier partnership level, a significant milestone in its long-standing collaboration with Equinix.
Alan Samuel, Chief Sales Officer at Beeks, commented, “We are delighted to be named as a Gold Partner of Equinix, with whom we have worked ever since the company began. This is a hugely positive step on our journey with Equinix, and will bring further opportunities for Beeks to grow within their network. I am looking forward to an increasingly fruitful relationship with our data centre and interconnectivity provider.”
