Extended support for Windows Server 2012 is ending. This means that Microsoft will no longer provide regular security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for that operating system.
To keep your operations running smoothly and safely, Beeks are enforcing a free upgrade of all instances running on Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022.
The roll-out will begin with all London and New York instances before September 26, 2023.
1. An email will be sent in the coming weeks to confirm when each new Windows Server 2022 instance is ready to be deployed. This email will contain a one-click option to generate a new instance that will be active for 14 days.

Some of the upgraded instances will have minor upgrades to specifications such as increased CPU, memory, and disk space. There will be a minimum 2GB memory on all new instances.
All minimum standard upgrades are free of charge.
Billing will remain the same and there are no additional charges for the upgrade to the new operating system.
In addition, please rest assured that there will be no extra charges for running the old and new instances in parallel during the 14-day transition period.
NB If your usage is greater than your current plan, you will be moved to the correct plan and subject to a change in billing.

While there will be uninterrupted usage on later Windows operating systems, we strongly recommend considering an upgrade to the newest operating system to avoid similar interruptions in the future.
