Exchange Cloud® Overview
Beeks’ Exchange Cloud® is a multi-tenant, fully configured and pre-installed physical trading environment, optimised for Capital Markets to offer private cloud solutions as a service to their own customers.
An evolution of Proximity Cloud®, Exchange Cloud® has been explicitly designed for global trading venues such as financial exchanges and electronic communication networks (ECNs). While Proximity Cloud® comprises a single-user interface, this next iteration comprises a multi-home capability as well as additional analytics features.
Through Exchange Cloud®, exchanges and ECNs can offer end-user cloud compute to their customers as well as maintain space for their own internal use if required. Utilising high precision timing tools and supporting unicast and multicast datasets, the platform can be deployed in any exchange anywhere in the world and white labelled by exchanges across different asset classes.

Why Financial Markets and Payments Should Care About Beeks’ Exchange Cloud®
-
Enhanced Customer Offering
Exchanges and ECNs can leverage Beeks Exchange Cloud® to deliver a branded, co-located cloud experience that integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure. This strengthens their overall service offering and helps them retain and attract customers by meeting the precise needs of market participants.
The ability to white-label the platform positions the exchange as a leader in innovation, allowing them to offer tailored solutions while maintaining control over the client experience.
-
Operational Flexibility
Beeks Exchange Cloud’s multi-home capability gives exchanges the flexibility to manage internal operations efficiently while providing cloud services to external clients. This enables exchanges to scale up without significant resource investments. The flexibility extends to handling a diverse set of clients and adapting infrastructure to market demands quickly and effectively, ensuring consistent performance and operational efficiency.
-
Cost-Effective Entry
With Beeks’s subscription model, exchanges can offer a lower-cost entry point for new participants. This reduces the financial barriers for retail traders and smaller firms, expanding the customer base and increasing overall trading volume. This predictable, scalable pricing model also enables exchanges to budget effectively, ensuring that infrastructure costs align with expected growth and market demands.
-
Enhanced Security and Compliance
Beeks Exchange Cloud® offers robust security features, including encryption, advanced threat detection, and regular security audits, to safeguard trading environments. In a sector where data security is paramount, this ensures that exchanges meet the stringent compliance requirements of the financial industry. This benefit extends globally, providing confidence to market participants that their data and assets are protected, regardless of jurisdiction.
-
Sovereign Cloud
In regions where data residency laws and sovereignty regulations are critical, Beeks Exchange Cloud® integrates Sovereign Cloud capabilities. This allows exchanges to store, process, and manage data within their required jurisdiction, meeting local regulatory requirements. For exchanges operating in regulated environments, Sovereign Cloud ensures compliance while still benefiting from the scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
Why Beeks?
Since 2011, Beeks Group has delivered infrastructure solutions optimised specifically for capital markets and financial services that allow customers to consume compute, storage and analytics through managed hosting, public cloud services or on premise in full regulatory approved environments.
All the components within Exchange Cloud are tried and tested over a decade preceding launch. We are one of the only firms in the world with dedicated expertise in building, networking and automating private virtual machines and analytics for the financial markets.
While Proximity Cloud makes it easier to quickly deploy on premise, Exchange Cloud takes it one step further by introducing multi-home capabilities in a secure and compliant environment. Beeks will continue to develop Proximity Cloud as its single user platform and Exchange Cloud as its multi-homed environment targeted at exchanges.
