The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group data center in Aurora, IL, is over 428,000 square feet and is served by two 138,000 volt transmission quality utility services from two separate generation plants through a privately owned and operated substation. This substation provides for up to 92 MW of redundant power (184 MW of total power). This co-location facility is based on a Tier 3 design with many additional security, fire protection and infrastructure enhancements.
This provides greater assurance of reliability and protection for your infrastructure, and reduces the likelihood of connectivity going down – a necessary feature in the trading industry.
